Finish off and close up the opening
Nose
Round 1: 2 Sc into Mc (2)
Finish off and sew to body about 1 row below the top
Beard
Round 1: 4 Sc into Mc (4)
Round 2: Ch 1 and turn, then Sc 2 into every st across (8)
Finish off and sew around the nose, or sew on the beard first, then sew the nose on top of it.
Hat
Sew hat to the top of the body just above the nose
